a serious crime or helps you by detecting & locating your stolen vehicle
This is a free subscription service for vehicle owners, Neighbourhood Watch, all citizens,
including social media groups across Brisbane and SEQ
How Does Theft Watch Live Work?
The Theft Watch network monitors major roads in South East Queensland.
Queensland Police are community stakeholders and are effectively using
the Theft Watch Live vehicle recognition technology is owned by
Virtual Watchman and provided to the community free of charge
When a vehicle owner reports their car stolen to Police Link, the information is
uploaded to Theft Watch Beacons. It identifies the wanted vehicles passing by
alerts police, vehicle owner, subscribers and the community helping with
stolen vehicle recovery and crime prevention initiative.
